The benefits of green tea extract for cancer prevention are not like those that are believed to be associated with curcumin from turmeric, resveratrol from grapes, and proanthocyanidins from grape seeds. There is a growing body of researchers who believe that cancer and many other diseases are preventable, if people simply strive to increase their intake of nutrients.

The human body can run on calories, but it does not run efficiently, except it gets all of the vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids and other nutrients that it needs.
